The name Big Ben (short for "great Benjamin" in English) refers to the heaviest of the five bells of the famous clock tower at the Palace of Westminster in London, weighing 13.5 tons. The term Big Ben is also commonly used to refer to the clock or the clock tower itself. Since September 2012, the tower has been officially known as the Elizabeth Tower. The renaming of the former Clock Tower was done to mark Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee and was approved by the British Parliament. The set consists of a total of 1666 bricks.
