The model built from COBI bricks is an airplane with its own name, "Axis Nightmare," and a distinctive emblem representing a Grim Reaper.
This particular aircraft was lost in February 1945 during the Pacific War. The amazing model of the powerful historical B-24D bomber was carefully developed from up to 1,445 bricks at a 1:48 scale. The set exclusively uses permanent prints, and stickers are nowhere to be found! To better depict the complex shape of the glass cockpit, new block patterns have been developed. The cockpit contains two pilot figures included in the set. The figures also feature very interesting prints on the back, perfectly referencing the battles in the Pacific region. The set includes movable elements such as propellers, ailerons, and lockable bomb bays. The airplane is quite large, with a wingspan of 68.5 cm and a length of 45 cm. Thanks to the intuitive instructions with clear symbols, assembly is easy. The airplane is a must-have for history, aviation, military, and military technology enthusiasts. The large number of pieces ensures many hours of exciting building. The set was entirely manufactured in Poland within the European Union.
The B-24 Liberator is an American long-range bomber and patrol aircraft also used for anti-submarine warfare. Designed and built by the American Consolidated Aircraft Corporation, its mission was to bomb remote cities, factories, bases, and other enemy targets. With the entry of the USA into World War II, the production of the aircraft increased.
