The Lockheed C-130 Hercules is an American four-engine turboprop military transport aircraft.
It has been in continuous development and production since 1956. Hercules transport military equipment, goods, wounded and soldiers over medium distances and can use unpaved runways. They are extremely versatile machines that can fulfil special tasks. The C-130J is the latest version of the Hercules and the only model currently in production. As of March 2022, 500 C-130J aircraft have been delivered to 26 operators in 22 countries! The Super Hercules features new engines, a remodelled and modern flight deck and the ability to install state-of-the-art systems.
The C-130J® Super Hercules military transport aircraft, released under licence from Lockheed Martin, was built in 1:61 scale from 641 parts and has a wingspan of up to 70.5 cm! The model features many moving parts such as rotating propellers, movable ailerons, an opening flap and wheels with rubber tyres. There is access to the cockpit with seats and computer equipment. There is also a cargo hold. The details of the aircraft developed in the colours of the USA have been reproduced with permanent prints. Pilot figures have been included for placement in the cockpit. A plaque with the name of the model is also included. The set completes the collection of aircraft released as part of the Armed Forces collection for lovers of history, military technology and the highest quality in block modelling!
