The PzKpfw V Panther is a German medium tank from World War II. To this day, it remains one of the most well-known German tanks. Panthers were put into service in 1943. They underwent their baptism of fire during the Battle of Kursk, where they suffered from numerous setbacks. Rectifying these deficiencies revealed the strengths of this tank. It quickly became evident that Panthers outclassed the Soviet T-34s and the American Shermans. Thick armor, advanced design, high accuracy, and one of the best guns of World War II (KwK 42 L/70) made the Panther an extremely dangerous and effective weapon that commanded respect until the end of the war!
The brick-built Panther has been faithfully recreated in a 1:48 scale. It features movable elements such as the turret, gun barrel, as well as rotating wheels and tracks. The advantage of the 298-piece set lies in its sturdy construction, faithfully reproducing the original forms of its historical counterpart. Our miniature tank has been coated with high-quality prints that do not fade or rub off. The Panther completes our range of 1:48 scale miniature tanks, suitable for any collection of military history and technology enthusiasts, built from Polish COBI bricks.
