Yamato (Japanese: 大和) - a battleship built during World War II that served in the Imperial Japanese Navy. It is the first warship of the Yamato class, which along with its twin, Musashi, was the largest battleship ever built in the history of mankind. The basic idea behind constructing such powerful warships was the arms race with the US, dominating the Pacific. The construction of Yamato began in 1937 and was commissioned on December 16, 1941, a week after the attack on Pearl Harbor. The ship was armed, among other things, with nine monstrous 460mm cannons. Its overall length was 263 meters, width 38.9 meters, draft 11 meters, and it had a displacement of 65,000 tons. It achieved a top speed of 27 knots (50 km/h). Nearly 2,500 people served on the ship. It was sunk on April 7, 1945, in a major engagement by American torpedo planes and bombers.

The Executive Edition, compared to the Standard Edition, includes a unique figure of Japanese Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto. The set also includes two additional nano-planes and a black plate that can be mounted on a brick base. Yamato is a huge model made of COBI bricks. Like other warships, it was designed in a 1:300 scale model. The latest edition is a reissue! The ship has been rebuilt and includes the latest bricks and construction solutions. It even more faithfully reproduces the smallest details of its historical counterpart. When the 2,684 elements are assembled, the battleship's hull is 90 cm long and 19.5 cm high. It has many movable elements, such as: side guns and anti-aircraft batteries, rotating artillery turrets, rudder, and propellers. The set includes a special display stand with a plate on which the ship's name is printed. A nice addition is a unique brick that imitates the Golden Orchid, i.e., the imperial symbol that adorned the bow of the ship. The model is perfect for all history, military, navy, and military technology enthusiasts. It looks great and evokes admiration and interest! Thanks to the intuitive instructions based on clear symbols, assembly is easy and straightforward. The estimated construction time for a model is about 8 hours! The model was designed and manufactured in Poland (EU).
