The Mitsubishi A6M2 is one of the best fighter aircraft of the early phase of World War II. The Navy Pattern 0 Deck Fighter had no official name. The number 0 stands for the end of the year 2600 (according to the Japanese calendar) in which the aircraft was designed. This is where the term "Zero," invented by the British, originated. The aircraft was designed in 1940 by engineer Jirō Horikoshi for the Imperial Japanese Navy. The model was constantly modified during the war. The machine stood out for its high speed and maneuverability. These characteristics were achieved, among other things, at the expense of armor. In total, around 11,000 units of this aircraft were produced in various versions.

Assembling World War II fighter-bombers is a great way to spend time and pursue a passion for history and model building. The Mitsubishi A6M2 kit contains 347 parts and a pilot figure. COBI's model of the combat aircraft was created with great attention to the smallest detail. The aircraft has a movable propeller and ailerons. Its rotating wheels with rubber tires can be extended from the undercarriage in the takeoff or landing position. The cockpit can be opened to place a pilot figure at the controls, wearing an authentic uniform and a print on the back! The aircraft is adorned with high-quality prints that do not fade even with intensive use. The set also includes a special stand to present the model more attractively, as well as a plaque with the name of the aircraft. The block model of the Japanese fighter aircraft will appeal to both young aviation fans and older enthusiasts of aviation history and collectors.
